We had our first guests spend the night last weekend! Super fun to see some old friends. They are from the East Coast and flew out here to visit some friends at Bethel in Redding, CA and stopped by to hang out here too. I spent the summer of 2006 with Bekah at The Inn in North Carolina and Janeen is Jackie's sister. (Jackie is a good friend of mine that I met at The Inn too, she was one of my bridesmaids!) It was fun to see their faces, in person. :) But, because we had guests we had to clean out the ridiculous room that is what we call our spare room. Really it is a junk storage room. I mean look at it! Gosh, so embarrassing. So, we spent Sunday afternoon "cleaning" the room. What really happened is we pushed everything aside so that the girls would have a place to sleep. Combining two people's things are so tricky. We have a lot of crap! I'm hoping my sister-in-law and her family come up to visit. This will encourage us to organize ourselves. There just isn't enough time in the day! Any suggestions on where to start? Anyone, unbias with our crap want to help? ~N

I'm biased because I'm your "grammy" and I love you. But organizing means that you should prioritize. What do we need to use everyday? What can we get rid of? What can we consolidate and put into boxes in our storage? You would be surprised how much you have but don't use everyday. One thing at a time. It's hard to organize when we have so little time, but it's always a good idea to start!
Love, grammy
The biggest problem with this room is that the room has become the place to put stuff that we don't use everyday. Therefore it sits in there and we don't look at it. We just need to convince Matt that we can store some things in the attic. It would help immensely.
